Before taking an order we give the client a quote for the overall price and do an order analysis – there are usually different ways of working with a document: from a simple text translation to graphics work to match up with some artwork. The cost of the job is also derived from this. It is essential to draw up a quote, as lots of clients (especially new ones) are unfamiliar with the method used to calculate the price of translating what is known as the ‘standard page’.
